Have you recently learnt to ride and would like to gain more confidence on a traffic free route, in a supportive group, with both a Breeze Champion at the front and back to encourage you? :)
Perhaps you’ve not ridden a bike for a while and you would like to ride with us to help you get going again?
You don't even need to have your own bike to join this ride! There are Beryl bikes, at Watford Cycle Hub. Just download the Beryl Bike app and we ask us on the day to give you are card for free minutes. :)
Watford Cycle Hub now has a cafe - so there will be tea / coffee / cake or even pizza (!) if you fancy when we return from the ride, if you want to stay on for a chat, a drink and a bite to eat. :)
The Ebury Way follows the route of a disused railway track through trees, passing by gravel lakes, rivers and over the Grand Union Canal.
There is sight of the 14th Century Croxley Great Barn from the track.
This is a lovely, gentle ride, ideal for ladies who have recently learnt to ride or who want to start cycling again.
We will ride at the pace that is best suited to everyone in the group, so everyone can have a relaxed, enjoyable ride.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the ride start time for our bike check and briefing.
Please remember to bring:
Two spare inner tubes for your bike,
Water,
A cycle helmet,
Appropriate clothing for the weather on the day.
If you have any questions you are welcome to message me directly via the 'Message Ride Creator’ button. :)
