A lovely ride starting at Watford Cycle Hub and heading out along the Ebury Way cycle path. We pass through the tree lined route, passing alongside Croxley Moor, as well as a14th century barn. We will cross over the Grand Union Canal and all 'Three Rivers' of the district: Gade, Colne and Chess. We ride through Rickmansworth Aquadrome and then follow the canal towpath to Black Jack's Mill.

There was a mill on this site recorded in the Doomsday book and rather more recently, they have developed a wonderful little cafe, where we will enjoy refreshments, before heading back, in part, via the Colne Valley Trail.

New riders are always welcome and children too - provided an adult is riding with them. :)

Please bring two spare inner tubes, in case of a puncture - as changing an inner tube is faster than getting out the rubber glue. The Ride Leaders will happily help if anyone in the group has a puncture on the day.

Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new, or recycled for a £1, should you need to purchase one or two...

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped.

If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always book it in for a free assessment; we're a not-for-profit, community enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service. :)
