Starting point

Roxburghshire
TD9 7JE

Weather permitting, we'll meet at the walled gardens behind Wilton Lodge Park and after our bike check, we'll head off towards Martin's Bridge, taking a right onwards to Roberton. We'll continue onwards as though heading towards alemoor, taking a the first left (or straight ahead) to take in the beautiful views by Burnfoot Farm. As we arrive at the bottom, embracing the new tarmac, we'll turn left heading back to Roberton passing the Snoot. As we reach the junction for Roberton, we'll turn right and enjoy the mostly downhill return to Hawick.

Please wear a helmet, gloves are advisable. Dress for the weather and please ensure your bike is in working order with the tyres pumped up. Please carry water or juice, any snacks if you think you'll need them and any tools/spare tube you might need. With so many models nowadays, the leaders can't guarantee we'll have the correct item, but we'll do our best to help if required.

If you have an e-bike, please ensure it's got enough power and you have a plan in place incase of an electrical/mechanical.
