Week before Womens ToB Ride

We will meet in front of Kelso Town Hall in the Square, Ride goes up Roxburgh Street and out past Floors, turning left along the walls to the left turning to follow the cycleroutes, we pedal along the B6397 to Smailholm road, and have the gradual climb up towards the turning for Scots View (yes we know this is the reverse way on the actual WToB) over and down ScotView, Clintmains then turning for Dryburgh, where we go over the bridge to and into St Boswells, short dip on the A68 and then return to Kelso on the A699, passing through Maxton and the Trows. We will enjoy a cuppa back in Kelso square as theres so many lovely places to get a cuppa from

Quiter country roads, with a wee small bit on a busy road.

Stopping junctions, tops of hills, view points, photo stops, need a drink of juice stop etc...

Helmets must be worn, we ask you to dress appropriately for the weather, knowing that Scotland doesnt always follow what the season should be so layers are always good, and a windproof/wagterproof jacket, even if its in bike bag always a good idea, We ask you to carry an inner tube for your bike - dont worry if dont know how to change if puntured - we are on hand to help. We always suggest you have a drinks bottle with you, of water/juice to keep you hydrated. Monies/phone.
