Starting from - the cycle stands by Campus West in front of Welwyn Garden City library. There is no parking but WCs are available in the Library when open, AL8 6BX

The ride begins through Sherrards Park Woods, crossing the Great North Road, We follow Ayot St Peter Road past St Peters Church and following the bends, rises and falls to Codicote Road. We turn right and follow the road up to Codicote Village. We cross through the centre of town taking Rabley Heath Road to Spokes Cafe. We stop here for coffee and cakes before returning to Welwyn Garden City by the same route.

Ride through Nomansland on paths, lanes and bridleways through pretty Hertfordshire countryside

We will be cycling on traffic free routes, quiet lanes and bridleways

We may have a short coffee stop in Sandridge

Helmets, cycling mitts, high vis clothing, full water bottle and if you have them spare inner tubes, levers and a pump

We never leave anyone behind
