Welwyn Garden City to Ware Priory

We cycle Cole Green Lane and follow the road to the Cole Green way. Traffic free and flat cycling all the way to Hertford Town Centre. We cross through the bustling market to Hartham Common, cross the Weir and cycle beside the River Lee to Ware Town Centre where we cross and enjoy a relaxing coffee by the Priory

Traffic free Cole Green Way and the River Lee canal tow path. There may be some traffic on local roads.

We will stop for coffee in Ware Town Centre

Helmet and high visibility clothing is compulsory. Front and rear lights are recommended as it may be dim. Warm clothing and gloves will be needed to keep warm. Spare inner tubes, levers and a pump are handy. Card / money for coffee in town. A cycle lock for security when we stop.
