We will be cycling out from Cockermouth High School where there is ample parking.

Come and join us for our Further 4 Fun World Mental Health Day Guided ride with likeminded people who love a longer cycle ride with great views.
We will be travelling along quite country roads out from Cockermouth, so be prepared for some managed uphill climbs and rougher country lanes.
Rest assured our F4F group is always "willing to wait" while you may need to walk up that daunting hill.

Road bikes with slick tyres maybe unsuitable for this ride due to the nature of the road surfaces. Please message me on the conversation tab below for this weeks route suitability.

Wherever possible we include a socially distanced takeaway drinks/snack break or if preferred by the group our own "vitals with a view".

We always travel at the slowest rider's pace with support and encouragement, so no one is ever left behind. This is to enhances our enjoyment of leisurely cycling within the safety of our group. So this is not a ride for competitors!

This is an intermediate mixed cycling group ride for adults (men & women 16+) to ride with others interested in doing more leisure cycle riding for around 20 miles each ride.

All Easy B2B members are very welcome & people wishing to mark world mental health day with a sociable ride among like minded people, this always includes riders using e-bikes with a fully charged battery and hybrid tyres.

Participants are required to consider safety first, particularly minimising the risk of infection/transmission and the risk of injury (so riding to your known abilities is key), as not to place further pressure on the NHS.

Participants must not attend rides if they have Covid-19 symptoms, have someone in their household who does or who are in the extremely vulnerable category or if they have been asked to remain at home by the UK Government track and trace system.
Participants are required to provide their own equipment.
A must is your own hand pump with the correct connection for your inner tube valve.
The essentials are;
1. Tyre levers,
2. Inner tube that fits your bike,
3. Puncture repair kit,
4. Pocket sized multi tool
5. Hand sanitizer & water bottle, any food/refreshments if required or monies/contactless card for purchasing any refreshments at the designated break stop and must avoid sharing any of the above.

At this stage using face masks or coverings is a personal choice but it should not restrict your breathing.
We will be riding 'one metre plus mitigations' away from those outside your household, in a group of 6 or fewer people rather than needing to maintain two metres distancing.
The 'mitigations' listed by Government include being outdoors and being side-to-side (avoiding face-to-face contact), both of which are achieved in group riding.
