Starting at Lydiard Park, this will be a nice social ride around the cycle paths of West Swindon.

From Lydiard Park we will follow the ‘West Swindon Round’ towards Shaw Forest Park taking a detour to Moulden Hill. From there we will join up with the West Swindon Round again and follow it through Westlea and Toothill through to Blagrove. From there we will head back to Lydiard Park where we will stop at the café for refreshments. We can always do a lap of the park when we get back if people have got any energy left!

The majority of this ride will be on traffic-free tarmac cycle paths but there will be some uneven gravel and muddy sections and some quiet sections of road along the way so please make sure your bike is suitable for the terrain.

This route is mainly flat with a few short hills but we will take it at a social pace and no-one will get left behind.
