Wheel Do It! with Full Gas Bikes - Nice and easy to Dunford Bridge

This ride from Full Gas Bikes at Fox Valley in Stocksbridge, is a pleasant and easy trip along a mostly flat route (although the software automatically categorises this ride as challenging, it is a flat and easygoing route). We start on the road, passing through Deepcar and along a short section of country lane before joining the Transpennine Trail. This is a flat and well surfaced off-road trail, which is suitable for any bike although there may be some muddy patches and puddles (it may be less suited to lightweight road bikes with very narrow tyres). We'll ride along the pretty, scenic trail through Penistone (where there is the option of a cafe stop either now or on the way back) and onwards to Dunford Bridge. We’ll then turn round and ride back the way we came, getting a whole new perspective on the scenery as we cruise back down the trail. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
