This is a HSBC Breeze Ride, led by women for women. Ride leaders are called Breeze Champions and are trained level 1 or level 2 ride leaders by British Cycling. They are all volunteers and hold current first aid certificates.

Experience these 2 mainly traffic free, gravel/tarmac* surfaces cycle routes. Starting in Chartham, we follow the beautiful riverside path to the Westgate Gardens in Canterbury. Still following the cycle route, we make our way to the University to pick up the start of the Crab & Winkle Way. This takes us across farmland and through woodland. We then wind our way through Whitstable for our tea/coffee stop. Venue to be confirmed it possibly at the Tower Tea Garden overlooking the sea. We return via the same route but with different views!!
* please note....this route is not recommended for narrow road tyres
There is the option to join the ride at the Westgate Gardens in Canterbury (ride length approx 16 miles) please let the ride leader know if you are doing this.

Please note that ride duration times are very approximate - we do not rush or race.......it takes as long as it takes!!

Please remember your.....
- helmet (compulsory)
- face mask
- spare inner tube, pump and tools needed if you don't have quick release wheels
- water bottle(s)
- suitable clothing
- any medications
- money for refreshments
- a contact number for a lift/assistance in case of mechanical breakdown!! (ride leaders are not trained mechanics!)

Please check your bike over before you leave for the ride eg. brakes, tyres, chain, gears etc.!!
