Starting point

Greater Manchester
WN5 0LU

Starting at Winstanleys bikes for this ride . We head out through Orrell and down Roby Mill before the first big climb up through Appley Bridge , we keep climbing all the way up to Charnock Richard , before weaving our way back into Standish where there are a few options for food , Chippy , Subway , Galloways , as well as Kaz's Kitchen . We then head down hill to Red rock , before another wicked climb up to Haigh Hall , from here we head into Wigan before picking up the A49 back towards Standish passing Wigan Infirmary ( hopefully not needed !) before heading down through Beech Hill for one last climb back up to Winstanleys Bikes . Ive kept the mileage below 30 miles as there are a few climbs on this ride .
Please check over your bike the day before and make sure you carry a couple of spare innertubes and a means of inflating them .
We will ride in the normal chilled out fashion ie a social pace , and regroup after each climb . No one goes past the ride leader unless told to do so , there will be parts for people to stretch their legs if they wish to do so .
