About the route
A ride out along the canals , starting at The JJB Stadium (Wigan Football/Rugby ground) and heading out through Wigan Pier and out through Leigh and Astley , stopping off for a bite to eat at The Secret Garden Café at Worsley before carrying on a bit further along the canal and then heading north up through a linear park back upto the east lancs road cycle path , before picking the canal back up around Astley and returning to Wigan
