Manchester

*Please note the car park at the start location is no longer in use due to building construction.*

This mainly level ride follows the Bridgewater Canal into one of the most picturesque towns in the outskirts of Manchester, with timber framed houses and two busy marinas along our route, there is always something to look at and admire. There will be chance for a bite to eat before heading back using Route 55 of the National Cycling Network which follows a disused railway line.  This really is a great off-road ride that will make you feel like you are nowhere near one of the biggest cities in the north.

Please note if heavy rain has persisted the trail will be muddy (and therefore lots more fun) so be advised to bring appropraite attire.
