Wilton via Hommington & back down Snakey

Only just over 15 miles, but a new route taking in some of the beautiful country side to the north and west of Salisbury.
From Five Rivers we breeze out of Salisbury via the Cathedral Close and out through Old Harnham, up Old Blandford Road and across to Hommington. From here we cycle to Coombe Bissett and over to Hare Warren, where there is a long downhill to Wilton where we select the coffee-stop shop. We continue by cycling up North Street and a short way down the A30 when we turn under the railway bridge and make our way to and up the Avenue. Here we cross the top of the Devizes Road and breeze down Snakey to return via Stratford Sub Castle.
