Winchester Breeze to Farley Mount and Hursley

Please meet by the public toilets situated on the lefthand side of the carpark of the Winchester Hotel, Worthy Lane. We'll cycle along Bereweeke Rd and onto Chilbolton Avenue turning right into Sarum Rd and riding along quieter lanes to Crabwood and Farley Mount. There are some lovely views on the 'downhill' to Standon and we will cycle a short length of Romsey Rd into Hursley where we will stop for refreshments. We will return to the city via Olivers Battery then College Street, The Square and Middlebrook St. to our starting point.

There will be opportunity to stop at a cafe for a coffee / drink / cake in Hursley .

There are hills on this ride but we will cycle at an easy pace and nobody will be left behind.

This is a great ride for someone, who would like to try some hills, but not ride too far.

Please do not come if you are feeling unwell. Please remember to cancel your place with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend as places are limited.

Things to bring:
- A well fitting cycle helmet
- Lights for your bike - in case it's dull
- Suitable clothing for the weather and hi-vis if possible.
- A drink and snack if you think you need one
- Money / credit card for coffee stop.
- A spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump in case of a puncture.
