About the route
Starting point
We will meet at 700, local road bike shop at 68 Peascod Street Windsor. It is a pedestrianized street, a short distance from the junction with Victoria Street.
We will be riding on the road, in traffic, but once we are out of the town centre we will be on more quiet lanes around Winkfield and Warfield. It is a flat route. If we approach it from the opposite direction, we'll have a little climb from Maiden's Green, rider's choice!
This ride is ideal for women on road bikes, however hybrids with road tyres will also be fine. This ride is perfect for women looking to build confidence with group riding, cycling in traffic or building fitness. Confident riders looking for company are also very welcome!
Please meet at 09.15 for the ride brief. If you need any puncture repair kit, hydration/ nutrition, there's plenty of choice in store.
