Witton Park & Canal Breeze

This will be a safe ride operating under new guidance for Covid 19 restrictions.
If needed, participants will have to provide their own PPE and hand sanitiser

If you are showing coronavirus symptoms, or if you or any of your household are self-isolating, you must cancel your place on the ride and stay at home.

We will cycle around the Witton Park cycle path, then across the road to ride along the canal. There is then a small section on the road to get back to the park.

Note we meet at 10:00am and we will do a cycle and clothing check prior to setting off on the ride. We ride at a pace to suit the group and won't leave anyone behind. Don't be put off if you feel a bit nervous or rusty, we've all been there! We advise you to dress and be prepared to suit the weather on the day, especially waterproofs or extra layers for adverse weather. Its always a good idea to bring a drink, although there are cafés en route if you want to buy drinks, snacks etc. Helmets are not compulsory but we advise you to bring one. Its also a good idea to bring a spare inner tube / repair kit / pump. The ride is more suited to Hybrids and Mountain Bikes. As with all Breeze rides, we will ride to the pace of the slowest rider and regroup along the way.
