About the route
Starting point
Meet in the carpark at The Discovery Centre, Craven Arms. Don't forget there is also a train service to Craven Arms - should that suit you better.
We will head west picking up the quiet lanes just out of Craven Arms and explore a scenic route round to Hopton Castle through to Aston on Clun and back. There are a few hills, but we will take these gently and in our stride - and the views are well worth it! Bring water and any refreshments you think you may need, although there is the chance to top up at the Village Stores in Aston on Clun who do coffee - otherwise we can enjoy a well deserved rest back at the Discovery Centre!
