Woods & Water (Progressive ride. Ladies Only)

Ride Leaders - Taz Jolly & Helen Shan. This ride uses a mixture of woodland trails, canal towpaths and roads. Average Speed 8-9 mph Elevation 589 ft starting at Borsdane Wood Carpark.
We cycle on the road initially to join the trail ( might be muddy) through Borsdane Woods coming out at Hindley. Navigating our way through Hindley we then join another trail through Ambers Woods then use the canal towpath to bring us into Haigh park. After our cafe stop at Haigh Hall courtyard we head back on the road to our start point.

If you have not completed a ride participant form previously for one of the HRS rides, please request one via email [email protected]. Anyone not wearing a helmet will not be able to join the ride unfortunately. Please bring your spare inner tubes, bike levers and pump (don’t worry about the latter if you don’t have one). A lock is needed for the café stop.
