Wootten Wawen

We will cycle out via Shottery and along The Ridgeway, to Billesley, Wood Lane, Mill lane, Aston Cantlow, Shelfield, Lower Wawensmoor, Wootten Wawen. We will return via Pennyford lane, Aston Cantlow, Wilmcote, and retrace our route to the start via the Ridgeway.

This ride takes in some beautiful lanes north west of Stratford upon Avon.

Most of the route is on quiet minor roads.

The refreshment stop will be the CowShed cafe at Wootten Wawen.

Please give your bike a pre-ride check (shouldn’t take long): in particular check brakes, tyre pressure and tyre condition. Remember to bring some water and means of payment for the cafe stop. A helmet is strongly recommended, and please pack a spare jacket if the weather is changeable.
