World Peace Cafe

We head out of Bitteswell and take Cauldwell Lane towards Gilmorton, we carry on towards Kimcote go through the Village and take a right turn towards North Kilworth. We join the A426 (this road can be busy) once through North Kilworth, we turn right off the A426 (at Kilworth Wharf) and take the Welford Road. We carry on to the next Junction and take the Welford Road, just before Postman Pat we turn left and take the Naseby Road. Once in Naseby we follow the road round to Thornby and stop for Coffee. Suitably replenished we head towards Cold Ashby and whizz down the hill towards Stamford Hall, Swinford and then onto Lutterworth. I would not describe this route as flat, it is more undulating and has some nice down hill sections.

This is a Ladies Only Road Bike Road. We will look to average 12/14 mph We are riding to the World Peace Cafe at Thornby Hall for Coffee & cake before heading back to Lutterworth

A lot of this route is on what are usually fairly quiet lanes, however, it is bank holiday Monday and this cannot be guaranteed. We do hit 1 section of the A426 for approx 1.6 km (1 mile) going through North Kilworth, it can be busy, we turn off this road towards Welford where it is usually a lot quieter

We will stop at the World Peace Cafe for Coffee/Tea and maybe cake
