A day out to explore the 3 Rivers Way & St Benets Abbey. A guide from The Friends of St Benet’s Abbey will lead a guided walk around the site (which is owned and managed by the Norfolk Archaeological Trust). It will be a chance to learn about the rise and fall of this iconic Broads landmark, and to hear about the daily life of the Benedictine monks and the story of the Ludham Dragon. On leaving the site at 11:45am, participants will cycle back via St Benedict’s Church, Horning where there will be a comfort stop, a chance to have a look around the church and warm up with hot drinks and cakes in a welcoming festive atmosphere. The group will leave Horning Church at 13:00 and get back to Norwich at about 14:30. Pick Up points at Spixworth Co-op & Coltishall Red Lion
