Starting from - The Memorial car park on the north side of the river. This car park is free. we are not using the car park attached to the station on the south side of the river. I may be slightly delayed if there are problems at school drop off but I ail to be there at 9.15. NE41 8DS

We will follow route 72 into Newcastle. It is mainly off road on cycle track. There are a couple of very short sections of road, but they are not heavily used by cars. At the quayside we will stop for coffee and then return via the same route. Please come properly equipped including 2 spare inner tubes.
