Yatton Railway Station car park, Station Approach, Yatton, North Somerset BS49 4AJ

This ride from Yatton to the end of the runway at Bristol Airport, takes us through the villages of Cleeve, Brockley, Redhill, Wrington & Congresbury. Some country lanes. Some main roads. The hill climb up Brockley to the airport will be challenging but worth it for the views we'll get at the top. Perfect ride for any airoplane spotters amongst the group (!) We’ll meet at Yatton station (south side, by the cafe) - you will need to pay for parking at the station (£1.40). This is classed as a challenging ride due to the distance, speed and hill climb. Please check with the ride leader/champion if you are unsure of your ability. The total length of the ride is approximately 15 miles (not 25 miles as previously mentioned!). Route map: http://gb.mapometer.com/cycling/route_4141131.html We really welcome newcomers to our rides. It’s a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way. Wearing a helmet is advisable, though not essential. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments in the station cafe at the end of the ride.
