A fabulously varied ride taking in all the green space and scenery south Manchester has on offer. Starting from Wythenshawe Park, we are soon routing through Gib Lane Woods, and along traffic free cycle paths to Kenworthy Woods and it's eastern suprise. Almost instantly after emerging from the woods to meander alongside the River Mersey and a quiet country lane leads us across the river and into Stenner Woods. Here we enter our second park, Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens, where you can indulge in a brew and bite in the tranquil surroundings. We leave Fletcher Moss back through the woods and into the leafy lanes of Didsbury. A short stretch on the disused railway line, the Fallowfield loop, takes us to Chorlton's Beech Road with it's galleries, bars/restaurants, cafés and alternative shops described as having a truly bohemian atmosphere. A ride past the villiage green takes us to a cobbled stretch into Ees Nature Reserve, our 3rd park. Another short trek along the Mersey takes us into our 4th, Chorlton Water Park from where we ride back through Gib Lane Woods and into Wythenshawe Park. 4 parks, 3 woods and a river... see if you can tick them all off
