This is a pleasant route in lovely countryside, with great views of Damflask reservoir and an opportunity for a great cafe stop in Low Bradfield. The route starts at Malin Bridge park and ride car park before heading west out of the city and up a steady climb. At the top of the hill there is a chance to take in the stunning views across the Loxley Valley (and catch your breath). Continuing along the right hand side of Damflask reservoir, the route heads into the trees where there is another climb up a moderately steep hill (there are opportunities to take a breather). From here the gradient changes as the poath coasts down the other side of the hill into Low Bradfield, where there is the chance for a well earned cuppa and maybe even a piece of cake. From there the route heads back along the other side of the reservoir, taking in the lovely views across the water. From the end of Damflask reservoir it is just a short cycle back to the starting point.
