The Nickey Line is a former railway line converted to a traffic free walking and cycling route. Leaving Redbourn towards Harpenden this ride will offer beautiful open views over the Ver Valley.  The Line crosses over the busy Luton Road on a viaduct towards the newly constructed ramp (2014) up to Ambrose Lane. There is then a nice downhill to join the recently resurfaced Lea Valley Path (National Cycle Route 6) towards Luton before taking country lanes back to the Nickey Line to return to Redbourn with The Hub coffee, cake and bike shop. Please note, some of the hills can prove challenging for younger or less experienced riders.
