A beautiful and scenic route that is flat and mostly traffic free utilising the NCN Routes 62 & 81. The route passes along the Liverpool and Leeds canal. The route will also take in the Sefton coastal path and the famous Gormley Iron Men statues. Why not take a break at the marina? It has plenty of picnic benches etc. or you can also make use of the cafe which is situated in the main marina building.
