This hilly, circular 21 mile route showcases the famous Worth Valley Railway and the beautiful villages of Oakworth and Oxenhope, locations for the classic 1970 film The Railway Children. If you’re lucky, you might hear or see one of the fully restored steam locomotives that travel the line daily.  The route also affords fine views of Keighley and Haworth Moors, the inspirational backdrop of the Bronte sisters.  The route also passes the picturesque Ponden Reservoir, a popular water sports venue.  The route is hilly, following tarmac roads and paths, so road bikes are ideal. There are stopping points at the Groose Inn near Oldfield and at Oxenhope.
