This fantastic route follows the Hogsmill River from Chessington to its mouth at the River Thames at Charter Quay in Kingston. Ride through the Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve where kingfishers may be seen. The beautiful Hogsmill inspired the pre-Raphaelite painter Millais in his haunting Ophelia (1852). Enjoy a relaxing drink at Charter Quay at one of the many cafes on the river before returning to Chessington. This route really shows Kingston at its best!
