This route takes you around Liverpool, see the breathtaking views of the Wirral Peninsula and the Welsh Hills as you cycle along Otterspool Prom, before arriving at the Pier Head for a welcome break were you will see the famous Ferry's that cross the Mersey and the Liver Birds. You then head off to Aintree Race Course along the Leeds/Liverpool Canal exiting the canal on the Melling Rd, (you can then say you have cycled a tiny part of the Famous Grand National Course). After which you return to your starting point along the traffic free NCR 62 which is 12 miles  long from Aintree to Halewood. This route is mostly flat and 20 miles of it is traffic free so why not come see this Famous City while out on your Bike.
