Leeds

This is a great route to discover the rich canal heritage of Leeds with a visit to Thwaite Mills, The Hunslet Club, and the Royal Armouries, all in one canal-side tour.

The route is 50% along flat canal towpath, and 50% road riding on a mix of quiet and main roads, so adults are required to accompany children. During the route, participants can learn about Milling at Thwaite MIlls and explore how the Hunslet Club is helping hundreds of young people and adults through sports and recreational activities and training and experience the knights, armour and even find out about a firing range at the Royal Armouries.

The route is a trip into Leeds industrial history.
