Starting off at the old White House Inn, now a hub of Free Wheel North, at the top of Maryhill Lochs you cycle along the Forth & Clyde Canal east towards the city centre. On the way you'll pass Firhill Stadium home to the "Jags", then onwards some fantastic views across Glasgow are offered before you reach Applecross Wharf and the Whisky Bond. From there it's only a short ride to the halfway point at Spiers Wharf, after a wee rest you'll head back towards Maryhill Lochs.

This route has been British Cycling assessed as an accessible route, meaning it is suitable for the majority of adaptive bikes. The route will have no or low levels of traffic, there will be plenty of space and will have a good surface throughout.
