This route follows the C2C route 72 and Hadrian's cycle way, passing Segedunum the Roman fort in Wallsend and Tynemouth Castle. There is a great opportunity for a break at Cullercoats Kayak and Bike Hire centre for a coffee and slice of cake before heading back.
