This 10 mile circular route is a special re-routing of the popular Open Spaces of Middlesbrough ride and explores the open spaces and traffic-free paths to the east of Middlesbrough. Starting at Teesside University in Middlesbrough Town Centre, the route takes in the child-friendly Pallister Park, Albert Park, the watery nature reserves of Marton and Middle Beck and the beautiful Georgian mansion of Ormesby Hall, home to the Pennyman family for generations. Following mostly traffic-free paths, Town Centre and quiet roads, and packing-in so many points of interest, this route is sure to please everyone.
