This route follows park paths to the tow path of the Leeds Liverpool Canal. It’s a there a back style ride that should suit all.
Hopefully you'll get to see a barge or two navigating one of the 5 locks on the route. You'll also see the Mallards and Swans that habitate the waterway and possibly a Heron and Canada Geese. This is a busy stretch of the canal with plenty going on.
If its available, why not have a blast around the 1.1KM cycle track named after Colnes Olympic Hero StevenBurke.
