Pendle Heritage to Salterforth

A lovely route which leaves Barrowford via the park and then onto mostly canal paths, and enters the glorious countryside with very little traffic anywhere to be seen. Travelling on approx 7 miles of canal paths, and only approx 4.5 miles in total on quiet country lanes, the route takes in some local sights such as the series of 7 canal locks, along with some spectacular views of the local countryside and rolling hills.
