Experience the bygone Age of Steam on this 9.7 mile out and back route, showcasing the first (and one of the finest) 'rails to trails' paths in the country - the Bristol Bath Railway Path. This route uses perhaps the most interesting section of the route which runs parallel to the Avon Valley Railway, allowing you to experience the nostalgia of the Steam Age whilst enjoying a steady, traffic-free ride. There are a number of refreshment points en route, most notably the fabulous static buffet carriage at the lovingly restored Bitton Station, where you can refuel prior to your return to Bath. A great day out for all the family.
