Starting point

M-Shed, Princes Wharf, Bristol
Wapping Road

Bristol
BS1 4RN

Queen Square

Starting from the M-shed located by the heart of Bristol’s waterside the route takes you along the harbour and train tracks to join the chocolate path! Locally known as the chocolate path because of the resemblance of the paving blocks to chocolate bars, the waterside walkway was built in 1906 when the Bristol Harbour Railway linked Ashton Bridge with Wapping Wharf. Follow the River, crossing over an old railway bridge to join the Festival Way.  It’s a short climb up to Ashton Court Mansion where you can stop before heading back to Queens Square along our route in reverse.
