Burton Latimer

A circular route starting in the historic town of Burton Latimer and taking in some of the delights of the Ise Valley. Stating at Seasons Garden Centre, you'll cycle through the town before heading out through Finedon. Approximately 5.5 miles in to the ride take a moment to admire the monument (now part of a farmhouse) on the left which is notable for it's commemoration of the victory at Waterloo in June 1815.  You soon turn right and head south through Great Addington and Little Addington following the course of the river Nene. On through Irthlingborough where King Offa (builder of the dyke to separate the Welsh from the English) held court in 970. You then turn right and head back through Burton Latimer.
