Saffron Social Cyclists (SSC)

Saffron Social Cyclists meet at The Railway Arms in Saffron Walden North Essex.

The group was set up during the Covid Pandemic and has grown each year with like minded leisure cyclists.

Our Sunday group rides cater for those new or getting back to social riding, to those who want a slightly longer route and a few miles faster speed, to our main A+ group who enjoy the speed element of group riding.

The routes are planned and range from the beginners 20 mile distance to the A+ averaging 30 miles.

Saturday group rides have a cafe stop and are about 30 miles long.

Adhoc rides are organised by many members using WhatsApp.

We are very much a Social cycling group and in the short amount of time that we have been in existence many new friendships have formed.
