About the group
A fun, adventurous bunch of enthusiastic cyclists who meet up for adventures on two wheels!
Our group welcomes all adult riders that have a road/hybrid bike and can manage a minimum of 25 miles.
Velocity Cycling club's aim is for members to have fun, make friends, get fit and build confidence.
Our routes cover the local area and cafés (North Wales, Cheshire, and the Wirral), but we also venture further afield in the drier months to include Sportive's and car-assisted away days.
We normally cycle on a mix of country lanes, city roads and cycle paths. Every other week our route is a hilly one!
Our group rides tend to average a speed of 13-14mph but all rides are no drop rides (no-one will ever be left behind).
Velocity rides are on a Saturday morning primarily and offer a choice of an all women ride or a mixed ride.
We ride the occasional Sunday.
