Introductory ride with Velocity Cycling Club

Starting from - The starting point is at the car park adjacent to Bren Bikes.

Please note that the postcode will take you off Newton Lane and on to Lime Wood Close. Keep going straight ahead to the end where the road bends round to the right. You will find a free car park, with no height restrictions on your right hand side.

N.B. There are no toilet facilities. CH2 2HD

A great ride to choose as a way of getting to know us all and see what we are all about! The ride will be a nice and easy 25 mile route, perfect for anyone looking to dust off their road bikes and get back on the road! The average speed will be around 14mph on the flat. If there's enough interest we will split into a mixed group and a women's only group. N.B. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ride start time so we have plenty of time to meet and greet!

We will be riding on a mix of cycle paths, main roads and quieter country lanes. Ideally riders should be clipped in but this is not a necessity.

We will be planning on a café stop mid-ride.

Please make sure that your bike is in good working order and have a spare inner tube with you and any tools necessary to remove your wheel in case of punctures. A helmet is compulsory for this ride. Bring along a waterproof just in case, a drink and any snacks you might need during the ride.
