Starting point

South Yorkshire
S60 5FS

This is a very nice route using lots of OFF Road trails tracks & woodland paths. We'll be riding on lots of different and varied surfaces and seeing lots of scenic countryside.
It’s not a race but our pace usually averages around 9mph for the whole route.
We do like a coffee stop or two, usually with a bacon butty, cake or scone, and we do like to chat so we have to watch the time spent in the cafes

48 miles, and only 2000ft climbing. Heading south from McLaren off Sheffield Parkway. LOTS of off road, two planned cafe stops Lots of chatter

Off road trails including, TPT from RVCP, the Stockley Trail Rowthorne Trail and some of the Archaeological Trail, as well as dirt single track, dirt & gravel bridleway, dirt woodland trails, field paths, and a bit of tarmac street/road too.

Pleaseley Pit cafe @21miles for bacon butty, or home baked scone etc, and Ashgate Coffee house for drink and nibble @35miles. Cash and card for purchases.

ALWAYS wear a helmet and suitable riding gear for the conditions. Carry some water and snack, bring cash & card for the cafe's. We are a social group and we ride together. All riders are individually responsible for their own bike maintenance and own safety. If a rider gets a flat we will pause and help if needed, but you the rider, should ALWAYS carry tools & spares to repair a flat ! (tube, puncture kit, pump etc) Your bike should have a bell to warn other trail users of our approach, and when its wet weather Mudguards should be fitted to prevent spraying other riders.

'First Time with us ?', you are very welcome
