Winginit MTB

This group is for riders of pedal powered Mountain bikes. We ride to keep fit and We enjoy exploring cross country OFF road routes. We do NOT enjoy road riding and our routes use as many gravel & dirt trails, tracks, paths, & bridleways as is possible. BUT, we sometimes do have to use small tarmac lanes too. Our routes/rides aren't suitable for eBikes because we do alot of OFF Road & Cross country riding and we'll usually have to do a 'Lift onto Back wheel' manoeuvre to negotiate various obstacles such as 'A' Frames and a swing gate or two, and sometimes we may have to LIFT OVER an obstacle or gate/stile. We ride mostly around Rotherham Sheffield Doncaster Worksop Chesterfield and the South Yorkshire/North Notts area in general. Sometimes we do venture further and have done some rides where we travel to a city by train and then ride back to Rotherham eg -Hull, Leeds, York, and New Mills nr Glossop.
