This is a very nice route using lots of OFF Road trails tracks & woodland paths. We'll be riding on lots of different and varied surfaces and seeing lots of scenic countryside.
It’s not a race but our pace usually averages around 9mph for the whole route.
We do like a coffee stop or two, usually with a bacon butty, cake or scone, and we do like to chat so we have to watch the time spent in the cafes

A nice n steady ride route using lots of countryside paths bridleways and lanes. We're heading out to Worksop/Clumber area via Butterfly House, Woodsetts, Carlton-in-Lindrick, Rayton, Manton Wood, then in to Clumber Park. We head out of Clumber along the dirt path called Drinking Pit Lane to get us across to Welbeck, then over to Darfoulds, Shireoaks, Lindrick, N.Anston, and back to Thurcroft. The whole route is 36miles and has 1200' of climb. TWO coffee stops - 1st @18miles , Nat Trust Café, Clumber, and the 2nd at The Dog House @33miles, route end.

Mainly OFF Road, lots of lovely lovely scenery, plenty of bridleway, dirt singletrack, woodland trails, field paths, canal tow path, and a bit of tarmac lane too.

1st cafe stop is at the National Trust cafe near the lake in Clumber Park after 18 miles of pedalling. The 2nd cafe stop, if required, is at the cafe in the Thornberry Animal Sanctaury at 33miles and at route end.

ALWAYS wear a helmet and suitable riding gear for the conditions. Carry some water and snack, bring cash & card for the cafe's. We are a social group and we ride together. All riders are individually responsible for their own bike maintenance and own safety. If a rider gets a flat we will pause and help if needed, but you the rider, should ALWAYS carry tools & spares to repair a flat ! (tube, puncture kit, pump etc) Your bike should have a bell to warn other trail users of our approach, and when its wet weather Mudguards should be fitted to prevent spraying other riders.

'First Time with us ?', you are very welcome
