Starting point

Merseyside
CH44 6NR

We will get the train to Hamilton Square, ride down to Woodside for the start
You will need an all zone saveaway ticket for the train to Hamilton Square and the return from Chester. You will have to purchase it via a Merseytravel vendor (train station, or, I believe, the ferry terminal).
The ride will then commence from Woodside Ferry terminal
We will ride down to Eastham and join onto the Wirral Way to Neston and across to the Burton Greenway. We then use the highways, byeways and cycle paths alongside the Dee, calling at Net's cafe for lunch and then on into Chester, via the Burton Greenway, Deeside industrial estate and the Chester Greenway and maybe the canal into Chester.
The return will be via train from Chester Station.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time, ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 9.45. The ferry leaves the Pier Head at 10.00. Not on the ferry, or arrange to meet at Secombe at 10.20 then you will not be riding.
