From the start, it will be quiet roads for a while until we reach Harrow Road at Wembley. We use that to Willesden Junction before turning at Scrubs Lane and then on through North Kensington to Holland Park. From there we head for Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and Westminster, where we pick up the Thames-side cycle path towards Canary Wharf. A return route will include West Hampstead, Willesden and Wembley Park. There will be more vehicles around on this section.

A visit to the quiet and lovely Kyoto Gardens before riding through the heart of London for coffee at the Canary Wharf development.

We will use a combination residential roads, commuter routes, some with cycle lanes and inner London cycle lanes. Motorised traffic in central Londonis generally light

We will stop for a short break at the Kyoto Garden in Holland Park. Our coffee break venue will be Wetherspoons at the Ledger Building, Canary Wharf

We prefer riders to wear a cycling helmet. Carry 2 spare inner tubes and a puncture repair kit. Take water for the ride. Also have a method of payment for refreshments or emergencies.

We never leave anyone behind
