This is a varied route mainly off road but does incorporate some roads to join up the off road paths/cycle lanes. This ride does involve some climbing, please see the elevation.

We leave Leigh Spinners Mill and join the Bridgewater Canal for a short time before crossing over the canal bridge and joining up with the Gin Pit tracks which then take us up to the Leigh Busway. We then utilise the Looplines up to Farnworth, a short bit of road before we join the cycle paths to our refreshment stop at Pine Tree Farm
After our break we then wind our way through Cutacre Country Park and exit through Shakerley and then onto tracks that lead us back onto the Leigh Busway. From the Busway we return to Leigh Spinners Mill via tracks that lead us onto Green Lane

You will need appropriate clothing for the weather. Ideally you should bring cash or card if you intend to purchase refreshments, a spare inner tube, pump, basic tools and a puncture repair kit
Helmets must be worn.
