Afternoon tea in Southwick Village

A countryside ride heading out through Purbrook Heath towards Denmead. Passing woodland, farms, thatched cottages and a couple of popular pubs – Harvest Home and Chairmakers. There will be a few hills (difficult to avoid on this route) but nothing too challenging. It’s not a problem to stop for a breather or walk up a hill. We will stop for a break approximately half way through the ride. Our destination is Southwick Village Tea Rooms. Southwick is a very picturesque village with 2 pubs, a church and thatched cottages.
Southwick means ‘South Dairy Farm’ and at some point the farm grew into a small village.
Street parking is available in Boundary Way near the George Inn.
Please ensure your tyres are fully inflated and bring a lock.
